Fill your knowledge bucket with a simple yet clever mechanism that allows backhoes, tractors, excavators, and other construction equipment to always keep their load parallel to the ground as they are lifting it.

All STL files and fully detailed documentation are included in the download. This mechanism contains moving parts and is fully interactive. All parts are printable via the STL files with the exception of the standard M4x8mm screws that will need to be purchased separately (online or at your local hardware store) for assembly. In addition, we are providing educators with a set of questions about this mechanism to quiz your students and help them trigger their curiosity. Enjoy!
