This is a digital file and no physical product will be delivered.
3D printed Multiple Gearing. The multiple gearing mechanism revisits the principle of spur gears motion transmission by use of simple pins and slots. Forget about teeth and complex involute gear curves, this mechanism is simple as it gets.
All STL files and fully detailed documentation are included in the download. This mechanism contains moving parts and is fully interactive. All parts are printable via the STL files with the exception of the standard M4x8mm screws that will need to be purchased separately (online or at your local hardware store) for assembly. In addition, we are providing educators with a set of questions about this mechanism to quiz your students and help them trigger their curiosity. Enjoy!
